randomest weekend of my life!!!!

Friday- went to NYC with mark, went to guggenheim saw kandinsky and mapplethorpe's exhibits, feasted at food emporium, ate duck at tai restaurant, spice in chelsea, mark tried and liked sea food, we visited my sister for a bit, went to a comedy show at comic strip live and were never served so we didn't have to pay the ridiculous price for drinks becasue no waitress approached us. Ate ice cream at molly moos, better than coldstones, fabulous experience...got home at 2 a.m. took the train to newark then path to journal square all by myself, watched oprah at my sisters and took many many subways, also shopped at banana republic and made mark by a polo and i bought acool art now, modern art book at urban outfitters and struck up a convo with the guy that worked there b/c he was wearing a cassius clay shirt which was clearly done in a jean-michel basquait technique, and jean michel was an 80s graffitti artist that apprenticed andy warhol and he overdoes on heroin at age 25 but he was still really cool. Crazy day, more happened i'm too lazy to type though

Saturday- taught taekwondo- 2 classes, napped, went to grete's some people drank, some smoked i didn't casue i had to work sunday

Sunday!!!- i was supposed to work at the WXPN concert for the art center. WEll i wasnt' allowd to drive into camden b/c it was at wiggins park near the tweeter. So i had to get a ride with marge, my boss who is craazy. HEr house is awoemse because every wall is orange. But basically i got there and she had to drop off her daughter's friend and pick up her son and we drove down to the concert i was inbetween 10 year old lili telling me about willy wonk a and reading nickkolodean and sam in a car seat, without air conditioning as her an dher husband reminisce about life. Then when we get there she's basically like i cna't take you home, so i am like crap i'm stuck alone in camden. So i make friends with the people working the art booth these two girls Jo and amanda and jo goes to the school of visual arts and amanda goes to drew and they're my age and a year old. They saved me becaus ehten i spent hte whole concert with them. As a volunteer at teh concert we got a special box lunch, a cool free CD, and all the refreshments we want. I also got to actually see erin mkcown, loud somethin, and the indigo girls play it was aweomse!!! Then we took two different means of public transsportatoin to get back in to philly and we ended up eating dinner at the hardrock cafe. Which was playing awesome music videos everythign from breakfast at tiffanys, to mobys beaufitul to elvis to led zeplin it was fabulous. I had a burger and this delicious banana, peanut putter, chocloate pudding pie thing. It was a very musical day. Then we had to wait around for the 10:30 train home and jo dropped me off at my car at marge's. But it was also crazy b/c when the train stopped at temple university i saw my old coworker who i worked with last year at the art center sitting on a bench in temple at 10:45 at night it was crazy and i waved through the glass adn she started freaking out. I also foind it nuts how jo went to governor's school too and how i rememberred her artwork from previosu shows because she goes to my high school's rival school. Well i now have two new friends and a lot of stories, i could ahve been stranded in camden but alas all is well, i must go to bed i have a ton of work to do tomrrow, and a dentist appointment and other things.
